A three-week training course, organized by IMTR in collaboration with the African Union Commission, EUMETSAT, and the ClimSA project has begun. The training objective is to equip meteorological technicians from 11 African countries with skills to operate upgraded PUMA and ClimSA stations at KMD/IMTR and ICPAC offices. The trainees will in turn train technical staff in their home countries.
