Kenya Cereal Enhancement Programme-Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihood Window

Supporting the ASAL smallholder farmer’s graduation from food insecurity and poverty to market-oriented/commercial farming

Kenya Cereal Enhancement Programme-Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihood Window

The "Kenya Cereal Enhancement Program-Climate Resilient Agricultural Livelihood Window" aims to transform smallholder farmers in ASAL (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) areas from subsistence to commercial farming. This project focuses on enhancing the agricultural value chain by improving production, post-harvest management, processing, and marketing. It operates across eight ASAL counties: Embu, Tharaka-Nithi, Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Taita-Taveta, Kilifi, and Kwale, targeting key commodity value chains to elevate farmers out of food.
